Does Yahoo require a validation program for using third-party client such as AirIM to access Yahoo IM service?

I would like to launch AirIM which provides Internet Instant Message Gateway to mobile subscribers, using their current registration to connect to our internet gateway facilitating means for them to access to all IM services such as Yahoo/MSN/ICQ and AOL.
