Powertrain setup for 383 stroker?

im buying a crate 383 stroker to put in an 85 camaro. I figured that i wanted a 3.73 posi rearend for street/drag. Im dont know much about transmissions though. Im going manual and im gonna go 6speed. ive had my eyes on a tr6060 and a t56 tremec. Im just not quite sure which one is gonna be best in my applications. theres some others ive looked at but none struck me like these 2(probably the apps their in now like the corvette and challenger). The motor is putting out 500 and im going carb so there wont be a computer....whats a good suggestion?? any suggestions on components for traction control...been thinking of adding it but not sure yet. any other tips on important stuff to look into would be appreciated
