Books with the Holidays as a backdrop?

I'm looking for books that aren't really about a holiday, but take place around the holidays. Something that has to do with family, friends, or a kooky love story (that's not too sappy) around Thanksgiving and/or Christmas time. If you've ever seen Home for the Holidays, I'm looking for something like that, but in book form. Any suggestions are great!
