The end is coming?

It could be, but here's the deal- we have always had wars and natural disasters , plagues and sicknesses , trials and tribulations of mankind. What is different is now we have immediate 24 hour news coverage on the slightest oddity or disaster any where in the world , even if we can't pronounce the name of the country- it makes it seem like there is a non stop disaster every few days that we didn't have before. But in reality nothing is any different now, then it was in the past.
